The ICT learning index adopted by Mitchelton State School and driven
by the government target measure, reflects a whole school approach to
modern learning in Queensland. It captures the energy, commitment and
resources invested by government, schools, the community and industry in
a framework that focuses on improving the life chances of all learners
at our school.
Classrooms
Interactive TVs
We have Interactive TV's in classrooms for supporting teachers in their learning environment. These TV's act as a whiteboard, screen annotate as well as displaying content from our iPads.

Learning Response System
Our LRS's promote classroom collaboration by allowing students and teachers to
immediately view responses and to discuss them during the lesson.
The LRS encourages students to engage, interact with and contribute to lessons,
resulting in stimulating discussions and lively, insightful debates.
Mitchelton State School has 320 LRS devices.
iPads
Mitchelton State School uses iPads across the school to support students in learning.
We have 80 iPads across the school for educational use.
Chroma Key Blue Room
We have a Chroma Key blue room for use by students in class assignments.
This allows the student to have their photo or video imposed on another video or photo.
This has been used by classes for projects like a Romeo and Juliet movie acted out by students and imposed into realistic scenes.
